1. Acceptance
By creating an account on STEM HQ ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Use of the service
Stem is provided as a property management tool for UK landlords and property managers. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and for complying with all applicable laws, including UK GDPR, housing legislation, and the Renters' Rights Act 2026.
3. Legal documents
Documents generated by STEM HQ (Section 8 notices, Form 3A packs, rent statements) are templates only. They must be reviewed by a qualified solicitor or housing legal adviser before serving. STEM HQ Ltd accepts no liability for documents served without professional review.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. New accounts require administrator activation before first use. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that breach these terms.
5. Billing
Free tier accounts are subject to the bed and property limits in force at the time of use. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually per bed. You may cancel at any time; no refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
6. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". STEM HQ Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from use of the Service, including loss of rental income, legal costs, or data loss beyond what is covered by our backup policy.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
